First of all: Happy One Year Work Anniversary to me!
I have completed a year working for my company, and am here at office on a Thursday morning not to work 'cause am still under yesterday's annual review shock - but rather to pick my laptop that I forgot to take yesterday. I won't go into details of the review, all I know is that I'm completely disappointed. It's been an absolutely tough year in all aspects, I gave my current job my bestest...But the results weren't pretty - not anything like what I expected.
HOWEVER, I feel extremely blessed to have a good job and one that I enjoy most days! As I always tell my friends, it's always GREAT to keep yourself busy with something you like doing :)
That's pretty much all for now...

Aww sounds frustrating!
I hope next year's appraisal turns out better. Sometimes it just takes a bit more time until employers realise how much work and effort you've put into your job - just keep it up :)

Appraisals are everyone's nightmare. Try to look at it from another perspective and tell yourself 'I did my best this year. How can I do even better next year?'.
