Dear Readers - Dear Me,
- Today is the official date of Earth Hour –2010. Amusing is that some local hotel are planning candle-lit dinner for their guests along with some entertainment programs that don’t require electricity. So smart I got to admit. Looking forward to 8:30 PM.
- Fellow Blogger the dragon of Muscat Confidential is now having a fan page on Facebook! Become a fan [here]. PS: Dragon, will invoice the charges of this ad to you very soon
- Major sales in both Muscat City Center and Qurum City Center - up to 80%! Funny thing though is that most employees get their annual bonuses this time of the year. So smart too, ‘eh?
- I’m still laptop-less; looking for a decent laptop with a decent price!
- Migraine attacks are back!
Till next time dear readers & dear me :)

Stupid or Cool?
A recent incident happened at work, made me think a lot…thought of sharing it with you dear readers…
At my workplace we are in process of organizing an event addressing the company’s staff. The theme of this event is encouraging diversity & inclusiveness.
One of the brochures of the events has pictures of various flags of different countries, shockingly; Israel’s flag is there…. Someone raised a point regarding Israel’s flag, the team started discussing, 98% of the team were like “we don’t see anything wrong about it, come on people! It’s just a flag and it does exist whether we like it or not”…. and only 2 people including myself were against the idea. I pointed out clearly that am against this, it doesn’t even exist so that we put their flag. It’s a shame if we do!
This matter is still pending and it hasn’t been decided yet whether we should keep it or remove it. It’s really getting on my nerves…like seriously!
Does being cool mean that one should make a LOT of compromises at cost of his sense of national identity? Is it really worth it at the end of the day? Is that part of being cool anyways? Or just ignorance?

I've Been Tagged!
I've been tagged by Kitten, so here are 7 things to share about me:
1. I was tagged before and I'm worried I repeat the same facts all over again, so I apologize in advance if it's going to be the case "whoho one is down, 6 more to go!"
2. For some reason, I don't like the word "woman"
3. I memorize almost every single song from Toyor El Jannah, including their new hits:
يسلموا يا دكتور
ليش بتكذب يا وليد
ديمه الأولى
And oh my favorites are the ones by M7amad Bashar & Deema Bashar
4. I mostly eat on the ground/floor using my hand - my right hand that is!
5. I do sing in the shower - I usually recieve destructive feedback from my siblings but oh well, I do really enjoy it
6. I write more that I talk.
7. "only 7? :( I'm starting to enjoy this probably more than I should, given that I was so lazy to do it all in the beginning"...
...So 7. Growing up, I wanted to be a:
a. kindergarten teacher
b. pediatric doctor
c. journalist with thick glasses lol
And my 7 victims are:
Spot!
3anz MD
Shahrazad
Um 3azzan
Amarant
Sarz
